As stated, recently got all 3 of these pieces of hardware, installed drivers for Chelsio adapter in Windows 7 (also tried Win 8), seems to install correctly. However, when I connect it, neither the network connection nor the switch reports the link light. In the web Portal, it detects the cable but says "Unknown Cable".
I ran the intial configuration on the CLI terminal setup. Seemed to go fine. I also was able to set one of the ports to qsfp-split-4 in the CLI, and then tried with this cable: QSFP-4SFP10G-DAC-3M BROCADE PASSIVE BREAKOUT COPPER CABLE. I connected things on 2 of the 4 SFP+ cables, and it seems to show up in the web portal as green, or 'up'. Also, the link light on the switch seems to blink when I'm using things on either end of the breakout cable.
I can't confirm 100% that the Chelsio adapter is working properly, since this switch is how I intended to use it. Is there any reason the switch/cable/network card shouldn't be plug and play?
Thanks in advance!
