Mellanox vSphere OFED for vSphere 4.x has a restriction.

Major problem was that need always major build ESXi host.

If there non major build ESXi host then you engage the installation problem.

I was also tried that script, but always failed to install the vSphere OFED v1.4.1-2.0.000 for ESX/ESXi 4.1 U1.

I was must install v1.4.1-2.0.000 for ESX/ESXi 4.1 U1 on ESXi 4.1 U1 Build 348481 then update ESXi host to latest build.

you can install on both ESX, ESXi host.

But some of IB commands can't excute on ESXi host.

I'm system, network administrator and consult development team and our clients...
