cannot netboot from mlx4 interface in eth mode

Hello,

I am trying to net boot from Mellanox mlx4 interface configured in ethernet mode.

To achieve this I prepared a initramfs with proper configuration into /etc/rdma/mlx4.conf

for example:

0000:01:00.0 ib eth

the problem is that when i boot from PXE the node does not get an IP address from DHCP and PXE won't boot.

I do not understand why.

I am running RHEL 7.2

Any hints about this ?
