I'm trying to get two new EDR cards, MCX456A-ECA_Ax and MCX455A-ECA_Ax, working for ethernet purposes.
I've installed what seems to be the newest OFED stack, MLNX_OFED_LINUX-3.0-1.0.1-rhel7.1-x86_64.tgz without problem.
An ib0 device does show up in ifconfig, but its an IB device.
Trying to switch or even get current state using connectx_port_config fails miserably.
[root@srcf-portwell1 ~]# /etc/init.d/openibd status

[root@srcf-portwell1 ~]# connectx_port_config -s

I know the manual indicates that ethernet use is in BETA, still I'd have thought I'd have gotten further.
Appreciate any suggestions or tests to try.
